Founder Alex Kanellis

Coach Alex is from Iowa City where he was an accomplished wrestler and football player. Going on to win a State Championship in Wrestling, as well as accepting a full scholarship to play Football at the University of Iowa. Coach Alex is well versed in the weight room as well. After playing football, he moved to the weight room as an assistant at the University, which led to his career as a Strength Coach. Landmine University is the culmination of years of athletic performance, strength training, and functional fitness. Coach Alex has bridged the gap between traditional "functional fitness" and traditional strength training. Learn more about him when you go through any of the courses provided here.
